About This Project
Full roof strip and replacement on a 1970s brick-veneer home in Rosebery. The existing Colorbond sheets had reached end of life with multiple failed penetrations. We stripped the entire roof back to the rafters, replaced damaged sarking, installed new treated pine battens, and laid a complete new Zincalume steel roof system. All ridge capping, flashings, and gutters were replaced as part of the scope.
The Challenge
The existing roof had multiple penetrations for skylights and vent pipes that required careful step-flashing to achieve a fully watertight seal.
The Outcome
A clean, watertight new roof completed in 3 working days, backed by a 10-year workmanship guarantee. The homeowners reported a noticeable reduction in heat transfer in the weeks following completion.
